Dexory in the United Kingdom is building software for a fleet of robots that are reshaping global logistics. This role owns fleet health, telemetry data, and diagnostic data capture, guiding releases with evidence and strong reporting.

You will drive reliability improvements, work with V&V on RC analysis, define alerting, mentor engineers, and grow a high-impact team while staying hands-on with data and robots.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering experience in reliability, SRE, or robotics operations.
• Strong telemetry/observability skills with Grafana, time-series data handling, and SQL.
• Ability to reason over data to distinguish signal from noise and failures from anomalies.
• Systems depth across Linux, logging, distributed systems, and ROS or similar robotics stacks.
• Motivation to grow into a leadership role and build a team.

Responsibilities

• Define and own fleet health metrics and reporting.
• Investigate fleet-wide behavior via logs and telemetry to identify root causes.
• Own diagnostic data capture, log pipelines, and telemetry coverage.
• Set and refine alert thresholds, quality, and escalation processes.
• Develop pre-failure detection for robot subsystems.
• Oversee fleet configuration management and drift detection.
• Ensure fleet data quality and a robust hardware health foundation.
• Coordinate with V&V on release candidate analysis and risk signals.
• Build top failure modes register and drive high-impact fixes.
• Communicate fleet health insights to Service, Engineering, and Software teams.
• Hire, coach and grow the team; stay hands-on with data and robots.
