Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in Worcester. The role offers leadership of a busy HGV workshop and hands-on maintenance duties, with a clear path to progression.

You will oversee servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a specialist HGV fleet, while ensuring health & safety and regulatory compliance. The position operates Monday to Friday with an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV technician with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
• Experience as a Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor.
• UK driving licence with HGV class and ADR desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a specialist HGV fleet.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the workshop as Supervisor.
• Coordinate inspections, planned maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with DVSA, ADR and Health & Safety regulations.
• Typical hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am–4:00pm (39 hours).
• 1 in 4 on-call rota.

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking to take the next step into a supervisory role, or an established Workshop Supervisor seeking a new challenge with a leading engineering business?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation operating a modern fleet of specialist HGVs across the UK and Ireland. You'll play a key role in keeping a safety-critical fleet operating at the highest standards, with the opportunity to either work as a hands-on HGV Technician or lead the day-to-day running of the workshop as a Supervisor. The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a specialist HGV fleet
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the workshop (Supervisor level)

The Person

• Qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Previous HGV Technician, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor experience
• Strong HGV diagnostics and fault-finding skills
• Good knowledge of workshop compliance and Health & Safety legislation
• Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class 1 and ADR desirable)
