Job summary

Boluda Towage Europe is seeking a skilled ship’s electrician/EOOW to join our UK team. You will have at least 2 years’ experience in the role, with shipbuilding or ship repair exposure and a thorough understanding of diesel engines and propulsion control systems.

Strong IT skills, including Excel, and a proactive approach to risk assessments, permit-to-work and lock-out/tag-out procedures are essential. A marine/mechanical mindset, resilience under pressure, and clear communication with

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in capacity of Ship’s electrician or EOOW or corresponding position (essential)
• Experience in shipbuilding/ship repair industry.
• Thorough understanding of Diesel engines & propulsion systems control and monitoring systems.
• Competent IT skills with a good understanding of Excel.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Risk Assessments, safe working practices, permit to work systems and lock-out, tag-out processes, and willing to develop and assist with the implementation of those systems, if needed.
