Job summary

Maritime is seeking a Fleet Controller at its Felixstowe head office. If you have Fleet Controller/Transport Planner experience and understand Mercedes-Benz, Volvo or Scania HGVs, this is your next challenge.

You will manage servicing, MOTs, defect repairs, vehicle compliance, coordinate workshops, reduce downtime and support teams with fleet availability updates. Competitive salary £35,000-£42,000 with discretionary bonus and extensive benefits, plus career progression in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Experience as Fleet Controller/Transport Planner or similar.
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz, Volvo or Scania HGVs is desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to cost control.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing planned servicing, MOTs, defect repairs and vehicle compliance.
• Coordinating external workshops and maintenance providers.
• Reducing vehicle downtime (VOR) and controlling maintenance costs.
• Supporting operational teams with fleet availability updates.
• Raising purchase orders and checking maintenance documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with Operator Licence and manufacturer requirements.
• Providing technical support to drivers and operational colleagues.

Our client are recruiting a Fleet Controller to join our Head Office team in Felixstowe. If you have experience as a Fleet Controller, Transport Planner, or have worked with Mercedes-Benz, Volvo or Scania commercial vehicles, we'd love to hear from you.

Working Pattern

• Week 1: 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Week 2: 8:00am - 6:00pm

What you'll be doing
