Job summary

East Dunbartonshire Council is seeking a Team Leader for Fleet Compliance based at Hilton Depot, Bishopbriggs. You will oversee the control and administration of Fleet Management’s systems and policies, ensuring the compliance and legal operation of the Council’s fleet.

As Team Leader, you will support effective leadership of the Fleet Compliance team, creating a performance-driven culture and contributing to overall success.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of local authority vehicle & plant maintenance requirements and legislation applicable to Council fleet operations.
• Knowledge of Fleet Management's systems would be advantageous.
• PVG / Disclosure checks are essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fleet Compliance team and drive a performance-driven culture of teamwork and flexibility.
• Oversee the control and administration of Fleet Management's systems and policies to ensure compliant operation of the Council's fleet.
• Ensure the management, direction, co-ordination and development of the Fleet Compliance team to meet SLAs and targets.
• Continually improve service delivery and minimise operational risk across the team.
