Cumberland Council is seeking a Fleet Compliance Officer to join the Fleet Strategy & Compliance Team. The role focuses on keeping a diverse fleet safe, legal and efficient, advising on Operator's Licence and transport legislation, and collaborating across directorates and external bodies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyse fleet data and identify improvements.
• Understanding of fleet compliance requirements and Operator's Licence.
• Experience advising on transport legislation and health and safety standards.
• Ability to investigate and resolve incidents and non-compliance.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the safe, legal and efficient operation of a diverse fleet.
• Support compliance with Operator's Licence requirements.
• Support compliance with transport legislation and health and safety standards.
• Act as key advisor on transport compliance matters.
• Monitor fleet performance and standards.
• Investigate incidents.
• Analyse data.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, and promote best practice.
• Challenge non-compliance where necessary.
• Work with colleagues across all Council directorates and external organisations.
• Build positive, productive working relationships across the organisation.
