Job summary

TransPennine Express is seeking a commercially minded Fleet Commercial Manager to support the commercial management of rolling stock and fleet operations. You will handle contracts, supplier relationships, budgeting, compliance, reporting and performance management across the fleet services for the North and Scotland network.

Qualifications

• Commercial awareness and understanding of contracts, finance and governance.
• Experience in commercial, operational or procurement environments.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make informed commercial decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support management of rolling stock leases, train service agreements, depot access and third-party hire contracts.
• Lead supplier negotiations and commercial discussions for value-for-money and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee fleet fuel delivery procurement, EC4T requirements and related reporting.
• Monitor performance of fleet contracts, generate KPIs and management information.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and commercial audits to ensure governance.
