Job summary

WSP is seeking a Commercial Manager (Rail) to join its PMCM Rail team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering robust commercial governance, financial control and risk management across multi-disciplinary rail programmes.

You will work with client Project Managers, suppliers and delivery partners to drive commercial performance from initiation to completion. Ideal candidates will have rail or infrastructure commercial experience, knowledge of NEC contracts, and strong communication skills to

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is required.
• Experience in commercial management within rail or infrastructure sectors.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial management principles beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, providing commercial support.
• Prepare monthly commercial, cost and risk reports to support project decision-making.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, tracking and reporting activities.
• Support procurement activities, including reviewing and negotiating commercial terms with suppliers and contractors.
• Administer contracts from award through to final close-out and support change events.
