Job summary

Go-Ahead London is hiring a Supervisor for Premises Cleaning across multiple London locations. The role involves leading a team, ensuring high cleaning standards and safety compliance, and acting as deputy for Site Manager when needed. Experience in supervisory roles and COSHH knowledge are preferred.

You will be responsible for daily task allocation, staff briefings, training delivery, and maintaining records to company standards while supporting operations to keep London moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, transport, shunting, facilities, or operational roles.
• Experience in supervisor or team leader roles.
• Demonstrable leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support staff across shifts.
• Allocate tasks, priorities and ensure delivery to GA W standards.
• Conduct briefings and toolbox talks; communicate updates to staff.
• Monitor attendance, performance and shift coverage daily.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and develop staff competency.
