EMED Group is seeking an AFA to oversee regional vehicle maintenance across Thurmaston, Kibworth, Loughborough, Worksop, Mansfield and Nottingham. You will ensure fleet defects are rectified promptly and FleetCheck is updated daily with maintenance events, including VOR status and disposal readiness.
The role requires a full UK driving licence, practical mechanical skills, and the ability to work Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week. EMED offers extensive benefits and a values-driven culture.
This is a regional role and covers our bases in Thurmaston, Kibworth, Loughborough, Worksop, Mansfield and Nottingham. Fuel expenses are covered between sites. The AFA position is to ensure full compliance of routine scheduled mechanical, ancillary equipment at all times. You will ensure reported defects are rectified in a timely manner whilst ensuring the fleet management system (Fleetcheck) is updated daily to reflect maintenance events that have been completed. The role will manage VOR (vehicle off road) and update daily, ensure defects are cleared with supporting documentation uploaded. Cover scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs in an efficient and effective manner.
