Job summary

PUMA UK is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our London flagship store, a full-time 40-hour position. You will drive sales, achieve KPIs, and deliver engaging customer experiences on the sales floor.

You will oversee store operations, inventory, visual merchandising, and reporting, while ensuring labeling, pricing, stock availability, and compliance with company policies. Strong communication and product knowledge are essential to help customers choose items and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service.
• Ability to meet sales KPIs and provide excellent customer engagement.
• Familiarity with stock management and store operations.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising and product presentation.
• Ability to generate basic sales reports and insights.
• Understanding of store policies, safety, and compliance.
• Strong communication within team and across departments.
• Knowledge of product range and ability to upsell.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales, KPIs, and profitability goals.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct full pre-sale preparation of goods, including checking names, quantities, completeness, prices, labeling compliance, unpacking, and inspecting the appearance.
• Arrange and display goods according to the company's international rules. Monitor stock availability, check quality, expiration dates, labeling and pricing.
• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and ensure product availability on the sales floor.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, and provide insights to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Understanding products and cross-sell opportunities.
• Managing stock on the sales floor to ensure sizes and styles are available.
• Proficiency in retail software and POS systems.
• Adhering to safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Self-leadership: work independently and manage emotions and challenges.
