Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Shift Engineer for a flagship retail site on Oxford Street, London. The role involves maintaining LV electrical systems, emergency lighting, UPS, generators and BMS controls within a high-profile commercial environment.

The successful candidate will have City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition knowledge, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work in a shift-based team. Excellent safety and customer service ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience in electrical systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a shift-based engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services.
• Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical systems and plant.
• Complete permits to work, logbooks and compliance documentation.
• Support and monitor subcontractors and service providers on site.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to BMS alarms.
• Ensure works comply with Health & Safety regulations and client requirements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and provide a professional service on a flagship retail site.
