The Resourcing Team is seeking a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer in the UK to ensure safety and compliance of electrical systems. You will perform BS7671 testing procedures and lead collaboration with other engineers on-site.

Two years of testing experience in commercial/industrial environments is required, along with relevant C&G qualifications and a full driving license. Flexibility for travel and weekend/after-hours work is expected.

Competenze

• Commercial/industrial electrical testing experience required.
• C&G qualifications listed above are essential.
• Ability to complete on-site reports and testing tasks.

Mansioni

• Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro).
• Complete Thermal Image Reports.
• Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports.
• Work weekends as needed and outside core hours.
• Coordinate with site contacts to complete works on time and within budget.
• Assist with training of new engineers and update training logs.
• Complete required Health and Safety training by due dates.
• Assist with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointments.
• Undertake any other tasks as required.

Job summary

The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experienced to ensures the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671 as well as taking the lead when working with other engineers

Role Requirements

• Have at least 2 years testing experience in Commercial and Industrial environments
• Spend the required 40 hours per week on site
• Qualified in C&G 2391 or 2394/95
• AM2 Qualified
• Holds Level 3 C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
• Qualified in C&G 2382, 18th Edition
• Possesses a full, valid driving license
• A willingness to work flexible hours and travel to site

The role

• Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard
• Complete Thermal Image Reports
• Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports
• Be available to works a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the year
• Be available to work outside of core business hours as required by the Company
• Organise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specified
• Works to be completed within the required time and budget
• Assist with the training and onboard of new engineers when joining the company
• Assist with training and development of Trainee engineers and updating required training logs
• Complete all Health and Safety training by the required due dates
• Assist the office with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointments
• Complete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required by the Company
