Job summary

phs Compliance is seeking a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to inspect and test customer electrical installations, including EICRs, emergency lighting, fire alarms, mains analysis, and thermal imaging. You will complete reports and certification using our cloud-based platform and ensure on-time submission.

Ideal candidates bring NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds, 18th Edition, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on electrical testing experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent Level 3 SQV.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.
• AM2.
• Experience working in an electrical testing environment.
• A full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less.
• IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
• A good level of IT literacy.
• Experience with Electrical installation/project work.
• Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Inspecting & Testing on customer electrical installations (EICR), Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
• Complete reports and certification using our cloud-based certification software.
• Ensure all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
