Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is recruiting a Fixed Wire Test Engineer based from a Glasgow home base with regional work across the UK. You will test fixed wire installations on commercial sites and prepare NICEIC reports, with overtime and bonuses available.

The role requires a recognised electrical qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent) and 18th Edition, with AM2/NVQ3. You will join a growing team within the Celnor Group.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification recognised for testing and inspection.
• Experience testing on commercial sites, not domestic housing.
• Commitment to safety and current regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic inspection and testing of fixed wire installations.
• Complete minor remedial works when required.
• Produce NICEIC reports quality checked by Technical Manager.
• Work with Technical Manager and Operations team.
• Use bespoke testing software designed for speed and efficiency.
• Serve facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites.
• Suggest improvements to testing software and processes.
