Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester for a well‑established UK electrical compliance company. The role spans Hull, Harrogate and parts of south Yorkshire, focusing on fixed wire testing in commercial properties.

You’ll work to 18th edition with 2391 testing requirements, and DBS checks are mandatory. A strong customer service approach is essential for on-site work.

Qualifications

• 18th edition required and 2391 testing certificate or equivalent.
• AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalence would be beneficial.
• Excellent customer service skills for on-site work.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Perform fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties.
• Cover Hull to Harrogate and into south Yorkshire.
• Work in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets.

They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

• 38-43k basic salary depending on qualifications and experience

They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester you will be:-

• Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
• Covering from Hull to Harrogate and into some south Yorkshire
• Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets

Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester :

• Living anywhere in or around the Hull to Harrogate area or towards south Yorkshire
• 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
• Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
