Job summary

Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking an Electrical Testing and Fixed Wire Tester in the Leeds area. The role involves conducting statutory inspections and electrical testing across industrial and commercial environments, with autonomy within a national engineering team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1, 2 & 3 or 2365 Diploma) is required/advantageous.
• Experience in fixed wirer testing is advantageous.
• Time-served apprenticeship is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations.
• Good IT skills and ability to produce technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and electrical testing of installations in commercial and industrial environments.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, 18th Edition regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
• Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales.

Are you a qualified Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Engineer looking to step away from constant site installation work and move into a more autonomous, professional electrical testing and certification role?

Do you hold 18th Edition, testing qualification either 2391 or 2394 & 2395?

We are working with a extremely stable, global leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Testing and fixed wirer tester to carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across a wide range of industrial and commercial environments (never domestic) in the Leeds and Bradford area.

The Role – Electrical Testing and Certification Engineer

You will operate independently while being part of a national engineering team, carrying out high-quality inspection, examination, and electrical testing of installations.
