Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance team on a fixed term basis starting ASAP. Based in Oswestry, you will prepare management accounts, support month-end processes and provide financial insight to managers.

You should have ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, solid Excel skills and practical experience in management accounting, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience.
• Previous management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge.
• Analytical, organised and commercially focused.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
• Complete month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Analyse variances against budget and forecast.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting.
• Provide financial insight and support to managers across the business.
• Assist with year-end accounts and audit.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
