United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has a vacancy for a full-time Consultant in General Anaesthesia. On-call duties will be based at Pilgrim Hospital; however, post-holders are expected to operate flexibly across all hospital sites.
The Department of Anaesthesia at ULTH is accredited by the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

Pilgrim Hospital, part of ULTH, serves a catchment population of 210,000 and offers a wide range of specialties with 369 beds. The hospital provides services including general, vascular, urology, trauma & orthopaedics, ENT, breast, ophthalmology, paediatrics, maxillo-facial, obstetrics, and gynaecology. Facilities include an A&E department, Medical Admissions Unit, and a combined ITU/HDU.
The appointee will deliver a high-quality, consultant-led anaesthetic service, willing to work across various Trust locations and outreach clinics. Responsibilities include participating in on-call duties, clinical governance, teaching, and departmental activities. The job plan will be regularly reviewed and updated.
