Job summary

FTSE Russell, part of LSEG, is seeking an Associate Fixed Income Index Analyst to support the management and recreation of indices. The role involves monitoring indices, performing root-cause analysis, and communicating findings to internal and external partners.

It offers exposure to market mechanics and risk controls within a global regulatory framework. You will develop expertise in specific indices, apply policies, and advise on data, processes and index changes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent is required.
• Some related business experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in an Index related role desirable but not essential as full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Builds knowledge in indices including gauging levels of complexity, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of how the market operates (cycles and terminology).
• Understands and appropriately applies Index Management policies, procedures and controls, challenging policies to ensure they are relevant based on real-world events and making recommendations to change these where vital.
