About the role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to be part of the Fixed Income Technology team, directly supporting the Front Office within the organisation and taking a key role in further developing the organisation's trading systems.

The successful candidate should be capable of designing solutions to business requirements alongside a development team. A background in Fixed Income would be beneficial.

Involves working closely with the European Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets, and Mortgages trading and sales teams. This role offers the opportunity to grow skills and experience within the Fixed Income area and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the business to define requirements and develop solutions
  • Collaborating with the development team on specifying and verifying system enhancements
  • Ensuring thorough testing of enhancements with the QA team
  • Understanding business and technical architecture

Person Specification

Mandatory skills and experience:

  • Excellent team player, capable of working independently and owning requests
  • Two or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or relevant Fixed Income Technology experience
  • Experience with structured development processes and methodologies
  • High attention to detail and strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Fixed Income cash trading experience
  • Understanding of repo and cash bond/future trading workflow
  • Knowledge of front-to-back workflow
