Connaught Care Collection is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for Waterhaven Place Care Home in Chichester. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in residents' rooms and shared areas, and support daily laundry services.

You’ll follow infection control policies, work with care and hospitality teams to deliver a five-star experience, and help residents feel at home through a calm, respectful, discreet presence.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in care, hotels, or hospitality.
• Eye for detail and quiet pride in small things.
• Understanding of how cleanliness contributes to dignity, wellbeing, and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents’ rooms and shared areas.
• Support daily laundry services, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are handled with care and respect.
• Follow all infection control, COSHH, and health & safety policies with diligence.
• Work closely with the care and hospitality teams to deliver a seamless, five-star experience.
• Build positive relationships with residents, being a friendly and respectful presence in their daily lives.
• Take pride in making the home feel beautifully kept, comfortable, and ready for guests at all times.
