Job summary

QinetiQ Limited, within QTS Production Team, is seeking a Fitter Welder Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, fit and weld components to drawings to the highest standards. You will work safely and efficiently in a busy environment, supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication, fitting and welding processes.
• Able to read engineering drawings and fabrication diagrams.
• NVQ Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and weld ferrous and non-ferrous components to specification.
• Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out MIG, TIG and Electric Arc welding to required standards.
• Prepare materials, operate workshop machinery safely and maintain quality.
