Job summary

UK Power Networks (Operations) Ltd in Norwich is hiring a Fitter to help maintain and repair electrical plant and equipment across the distribution network, from low voltage systems up to 132kV substations.

You'll work as part of a skilled Network Operations team, conduct inspections, promote safe working practices, use handheld tech to manage work, and support a reliable electricity supply for Norfolk and beyond.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge, including City & Guilds 2339.

Fitter - Norwich

Join UK Power Networks as a Fitter based in Norwich, helping to maintain and repair electrical plant and equipment across the distribution network, from low voltage systems up to 132kV substations.

Working as part of a skilled Network Operations team, you'll carry out inspections, support safe working practices, use handheld technology to manage work activities, and help deliver a reliable electricity supply to customers across Norfolk and the wider UK Power Networks area.

We're looking for safety-focused individuals with a full UK driving licence, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a willingness to develop their technical knowledge, including working towards a City & Guilds 2339 qualification where required.
