Job summary

Top Job Recruitment Limited is seeking a motivated Fitter/Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy team working on signage installation across the UK. The role involves hands-on installation across multiple sites, with a company vehicle provided and tools/uniform supplied.

Excellent long-term progression is offered for the right candidate. Key requirements include a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install signage including post-mounted signs, hoardings, illuminated signage, fascias, cladding, vinyl applications, and shopfitting.
• Ensure installations are completed on time and to a high-quality standard.
• Follow site and installation procedures and health and safety protocols on site.
• Provide a professional service when interacting with clients and site teams.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Travel nationwide to project locations in a company vehicle.

Fitter/Multi-Trade Operative

Job description:

We are currently recruiting for motivated Signage Fitters to join a busy and growing team working on projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role offering a variety of installation work across multiple sites, making it ideal for someone who is adaptable, hardworking, and enjoys working in different environments.

This position offers excellent long-term progression opportunities for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.

Working Hours:

• 47.5 hours per week
• £31,000.00 - £33,000.00 per year
• Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate after 10 hours worked per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing a range of signage including post-mounted signs, hoardings, illuminated signage, fascias, cladding, vinyl applications, and shopfitting
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time and to a high-quality standard
• Following all site and installation procedures
• Working safely and taking responsibility for health and safety on site
• Providing a professional service when interacting with clients and site teams
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Travelling nationwide to various project locations in a company vehicle

What We’re Looking For:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Client-focused and professional approach
• Valid CSCS Card is required
• Full UK Driving License
• Previous signage fitting or installation experience is advantageous
• PASMA, IPAF, First Aid, Working at Height, or CAT Scanner certifications would be beneficial but are not essential
