We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a retail shop fitout project in Ealing. This is a long-term freelance opportunity ideally suited to professionals with a proven track record in fast-paced retail environments.

Experience managing fitouts for Tesco, Lidl, Aldi or similar major supermarket chains is a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team

*

Monitor health & safety and ensure full compliance with company and statutory requirements

*

Maintain site diaries, RAMS, permits, and progress reports

*

Ensure quality control and snagging procedures are enforced and completed

*

Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact on-site

*

Coordinate site logistics and oversee delivery schedules

Requirements:

*

5+ years experience as a Site Manager in commercial/retail fitouts

*

Previous experience working on Tesco, Lidl, Aldi or similar supermarket projects highly desirable

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card ), and First Aid certifications

*

Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to work independently and proactively manage subcontractors
