Job summary

4Leisure Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Fitness Manager for a leading leisure facility in Crawley. You will take ownership of the fitness operation, leading a team to deliver an exceptional member experience.

The role requires a Level 3 Fitness qualification and proven leadership in a fitness setting, with a focus on member engagement, performance and meeting commercial targets. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Fitness qualification.
• Experience leading or supervising a fitness team.
• Experience managing personal training and fitness teams.
• Strong understanding of member engagement and retention.
• Commercial awareness and experience working towards targets.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for helping both members and colleagues reach goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the fitness team.
• Drive personal training performance and group exercise delivery.
• Set clear targets and support the team to achieve them.
• Create a strong, engaging gym floor presence.
• Drive member engagement, retention and overall satisfaction.
• Deliver the centre's fitness strategy and commercial targets.
• Manage budgets and monitor performance.
• Ensure consistently high standards across the fitness operation.
