Job Description

The primary objectives for the Fitness Instructor include:

• Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all facility users.
• Promoting excellent customer service and motivating clients to enjoy exercise through effective communication and sales skills.
• Managing daily operations of the health and fitness facilities.
• Adhering to all operational and sales procedures to promote the Expressions brand.

Daily tasks involve:

• Working on a shift rota to manage daily facility operations.
• Conducting inductions, fitness assessments, and personal programmes.
• Monitoring health and safety within the centre and implementing safety procedures.
• Supporting clients with motivation, well-being, nutrition, and fitness testing.
• Achieving income and sales targets as part of a team.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the facilities and equipment.
• Assisting with maintenance and other operational duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates will be flexible, reliable, and team-oriented. Qualifications include:

• REPS Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.

Additional Information
