Job summary

JD Gyms in Enfield is seeking a dedicated team member to enhance the member journey from first contact through daily club experiences. You will engage with members on the gym floor, lead tours and group classes, and support new joiners with a welcoming, informative approach.

We value someone passionate about fitness, able to adapt communication for diverse members, and committed to ongoing learning. A Level 3 PT qualification is advantageous and you will work within a supportive, energetic team.

Responsibilities

• Place member experience at the heart of every interaction on the gym floor.

• Assist prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Perform club standards checks and ensure accurate record keeping.

Role overview

As a member of the JD Gyms team, you will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for members during every visit. Through member engagement, gym inductions, group exercise classes and maintaining high club standards, you will help deliver an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities

• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by constantly engaging with members on the gym floor.
• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.
• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Conduct club standards checks across the club, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in line with JD Gyms record keeping procedures.
• Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed
• Ensure that club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set out by the Gym Management and Operations team.
• Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with all health and safety action points.
• Monitor our service delivery through our performance and member feedback.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation at all times.
• Support energy efficiency, environmental initiatives and responsible waste management practices across the club.
• Analysis and presentation of key data to support new ideas / initiatives / proposed developments.
