Job summary

JD Gyms is looking for a committed team member to help deliver an exceptional member experience on the gym floor. The role involves engaging with current and prospective members, leading group exercise classes and delivering inductions with a focus on safety and brand standards.

You will work collaboratively, adapt communication styles to members, and support continuous improvement in service delivery and gym cleanliness while upholding JD Gyms values.

Responsibilities

• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by engaging with members on the gym floor.
• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.
• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Conduct club standards checks across the club, record results accurately.
• Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed.
• Maintain club cleanliness to the highest level per management guidance.
• Maintain brand standards and health and safety compliance at all times.
• Monitor service delivery through feedback and performance.

Role overview:

As a member of the JD Gyms team, you will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for members during every visit. Through member engagement, gym inductions, group exercise classes and maintaining high club standards, you will help deliver an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities:

• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by constantly engaging with members on the gym floor.
• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.
• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.
• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
• Conduct club standards checks across the club, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in line with JD Gyms record keeping procedures.
• Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed
• Ensure that club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set out by the Gym Management and Operations team.
• Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with all health and safety action points.
• Monitor our service delivery through our performance and member feedback.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation at all times.
• Support energy efficiency, environmental initiatives and responsible waste management practices across the club.
• Analysis and presentation of key data to support new ideas / initiatives / proposed developments.

Skills and Experience:

• Has a passion for fitness, health, wellbeing and helping people
• Representative of, and embodies, the JD Gyms brand standards and values
