JD Gyms is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Fitness Coach to join our award-winning gym network in the UK. You will deliver welcoming member experiences, lead group exercise classes, and maintain high club standards on the floor.

In addition to employed hours, you will operate as a self-employed Personal Trainer within the same gym, paying monthly rent and leveraging thousands of member leads with our PT Business Support team to grow your client base.

So, if you can help to create an environment where #FitnessJustGotSerious then check out the below details:Employed Fitness Coach and Self-employed Personal Trainer.Firstly, you will be employed by JD Gyms on a part-time basis (12 hours a week) completing 3 x 4-hour shifts as a Fitness Coach, with a monthly salary.JD Gyms prides itself on its management career progression programmes, which will help you develop your leadership skills and prepare you for the next steps in your career.Separately, outside of your employed hours as a Fitness Coach, you will pay rent on a monthly basis, and run your self-employed Personal Training business from the gym in which you are based, giving you access to thousands of leads in the form of current members and new members that join on a daily basis. Through member engagement, gym inductions, group exercise classes and maintaining high club standards, you will help deliver an exceptional member experience.Responsibilities:• Places member experience at the heart of everything you do by constantly engaging with members on the gym floor.• Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in the club, in line with JD Gyms brand standards.• Deliver engaging and inclusive group exercise classes.• Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.• Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.• Conduct club standards checks across the club, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in line with JD Gyms record keeping procedures.• Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed• Ensure that club cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level as set out by the Gym Management and Operations team.• Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with all health and safety action points.• Monitor our service delivery through our performance and member feedback.• Work safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation at all times.• Support energy efficiency, environmental initiatives and responsible waste management practices across the club.• Analysis and presentation of key data to support new ideas / initiatives / proposed developments.Skills and Experience:• Has a passion for fitness, health, wellbeing and helping people• Representative of, and embodies, the JD Gyms brand standards and values• Enthusiastic and open to learning• Able to adapt communication and engagement styles to meet the needs of different members and colleagues.• Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and development.• Understands and can articulate the importance of a great member experience.• Is flexible in approach to hours worked.• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues, members and local communities.• Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualifiedWe know our colleagues work tirelessly to make JD Outdoors the success it is today and in turn, we offer them some amazing benefits including staff Discount On JD Group and other brands within the organisation and personal development opportunities to learn and develop at work.Thank you for your time.#Gyms
