Job summary

Barnsley Football Club is seeking a First Team Physiotherapist to deliver daily physiotherapy services to First Team players, ensuring high standards of injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention. You will work with the Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, Club Doctor and Performance Department to maximise player availability and reduce injury risk throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registered physiotherapist
• FA Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) Certificate, or equivalent
• Significant clinical experience within elite sport, with professional football experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex injuries and return-to-play processes.

About The Candidate

Essential:

• Degree in Physiotherapy

Desirable:

• MSc in Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine or related field.
• FA Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF) Certificate, or equivalent
• Experience within First Team professional football.
• Experience line-managing staff within a multidisciplinary performance environment.
