Pay Rate: £30,750

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off - 06:00 - 18:00

Location: Wakefield (WF11 0AE)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a First Line Manager - Transport to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders, and tracking transportation vehicles.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist management by coordinating and generating shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining accurate and current reports.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within set time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Track and trace shipping orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring records are accurately maintained and optimized.
