Job summary

Service Care is seeking an Initial Contact Worker in Milton Keynes for a short-term contract. The role focuses on making initial contact with families, assessing needs, and signposting to appropriate services, while maintaining records and working with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.

You'll follow safeguarding policies at all times and contribute to a collaborative team environment, gaining valuable experience in family services and client support throughout the contract term.

Qualifications

• Experience in family services or social work preferred.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial contact with families and clients in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Assess needs of families and individuals at first point of contact.
• Provide information, advice and guidance on available support services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
