Ring is seeking a Software Development Engineer within the RBKS DevX team to build developer tools for firmware efforts across Ring and Blink. You’ll create tooling to accelerate testing and provide fast feedback on changes across different environments, with a view to applying AI-powered capabilities where it adds value.

You’ll design and build tools to reduce test friction, collaborate with firmware engineers, contribute to CI processes, and influence tooling choices as priorities evolve.

Formación

• Architecture and design of new and current systems, focusing on reliability and scale.
• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Proficient in Python with OO design principles.
• Experience building tools for automated testing of embedded systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations.
• Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate developer tools that streamline test execution across emulators, hardware, and other environments.
• Apply generative AI techniques to add value in test analysis, workflows, or exposing AI capabilities to teams.
• Collaborate with firmware teams to deliver tools that fit into their workflow.
• Contribute to the full SDLC: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment and operations.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
