Churches Fire and Security is seeking an Electrical Systems Technician (fire biased) based in Newcastle/Yorkshire. You will service, maintain and perform small works on sites within your postcode area, handling a range of fire and security systems while adhering to British Standards and delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes fault finding to achieve 1st fix solutions, working with fire systems, intruder, CCTV and access control, and requires an outgoing, proactive personality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the British Standards.
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5.
• Experience with Fire Systems, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control.
• Outgoing and proactive personality.
• Flexibility around out of hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on sites within the postcode area.
• Work with fire and security systems and emergency lights – fire biased technician.
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix where possible.
• Work to the British Standards at all times.
• Be customer facing to maintain the company’s reputation.
