Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United Kingdom is seeking a Service Engineer - Fire to service and maintain Fire Alarm Systems to industry standards, delivering outstanding customer service. You will join a high-performing team and identify and rectify issues before they affect clients.

The role requires a full clean driving licence, the ability to climb ladders and work at height, and current relevant qualifications (e.g. 18th edition/NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC/FIA).

Qualifications

• Experience in fire industry with repair and maintenance of large systems.
• Knowledge of Fire, Gas and Aspiration systems.
• Strong customer-facing experience.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to lift and climb ladders; comfortable at height.
• Current relevant qualifications (18th edition/NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC/FIA).

Responsibilities

• Service Fire Alarm Systems to industry standards, delivering excellent customer service.
• Identify and rectify problems before they occur.
• Complete engineer work reports or checklists.
• Manage time efficiently and prioritise jobs.
• Maintain safety and protect property while carrying out duties.
