Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer in our Fire & Security Systems business team based in the Haringey/Islington and surrounding territory. The job holder will be required to work 40 hrs per week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Attend to calls for maintenance (on site and/or by telephone) as directed by team coordinators.
  2. Rectify all faults on the first visit where rectification is within your control.
  3. Carry out rolling programme of preventative maintenance visits.
  4. Collect and record site configuration information.
  5. Maintain stock levels of spare parts.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely records.
  7. Provide cover outside regular hours on a rotating basis.
  8. Commission small projects as required.
  9. Ensure audits of quality procedures are carried out.
  10. Provide training to customers and colleagues as needed.
  11. Perform any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Previous electrical or mechanical experience.
  2. Experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
  3. Experience servicing fire alarm systems, ideally GENT based.
  4. An IT qualification and/or Electrical/Electronic qualification.
  5. Broad technical IT knowledge, including networking.
  6. Knowledge of basic electrical principles such as measuring voltage and current.
  7. Attention to detail to ensure accurate paperwork and procedures within deadlines.
  8. Enthusiastic team player capable of working under pressure and maintaining professionalism.
