Job summary
CIA Fire & Security – part of The Ranger Group is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to cover Cirencester and surrounding areas. The role involves maintaining and servicing Fire & Security systems, delivering top-notch on-site service and building strong customer relationships.
You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and complete PPM visits while ensuring compliance with standards. A full UK driving licence is required; FIA/ECS/CSCS, IPAF or PASMA training is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Fire & Security service experience required.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- FIA/ECS/CSCS/IPAF or PASMA training advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Respond to reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
- Complete accurate service reports and compliance documentation.
- Provide technical advice and excellent customer service.
- Ensure systems remain compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
