Job summary

Perigon Search Ltd is recruiting an engineer to service and maintain fire and security systems across commercial sites in the CB/CO areas, with occasional nationwide travel. You will handle faults in conventional and addressable fire alarms, and support CCTV and access control while contributing to commissioning and documentation.

The role offers a basic salary in the £36,000–£43,000 range, overtime and standby payments, a company van, workwear, devices, pension, and ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across fire and security systems.
• Confidence to service equipment and investigate faults without constant supervision.
• Willingness to travel nationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
• Finding and repairing faults.
• Working on conventional and addressable fire alarms.
• Supporting CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and emergency lighting.
• Completing small installations and commissioning.
• Keeping service documentation accurate and up to date.
• Participating in the on-call rota.
