Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Service Engineer (Fire & Security) in Glasgow. You will conduct planned preventive maintenance across sites in Glasgow and provide reactive service on an on‑call schedule.

The role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000 with OTE £48,000, a company car, local patch, structured career progression, funded certification and training, and a 39-hour week with 8am to 5pm weekdays, 4pm finish on Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer or Technician.
• Background in Fire and/or Security industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance across sites in Glasgow.
• Provide reactive service one day in eight (on‑call).
• Earn standby bonus, door‑to‑door pay at 1.5×, and opt for optional overtime.
• Participate in funded certificates and one‑on‑one training to enhance technical expertise.
