Job summary

ABCA SYSTEMS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Fire & Security engineer to service social housing and commercial sites in Nottingham. This hands-on role covers reactive repairs, servicing, and maintenance across fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems.

You will perform fault-finding, installations, inspections, and testing, while logging jobs with CASH and reporting clearly. A full UK driving licence and knowledge of BS5839 standards are essential for this varied role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Fire & Security engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as: fire alarms, access control & door entry.
• Good understanding of BS5839 standards.
• Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Smoke control / AOV systems experience.
• Fire extinguisher servicing.
• Experience using CASH or similar systems.

Responsibilities
