Options Resourcing Ltd in Buckingham is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation / Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will install, test, commission and service a range of fire and security systems, with a focus on installation-based work and some service tasks.

The role offers a salary of £32,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, a permanent contract, company vehicle, fuel card, ongoing training and clear career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing Fire & Security systems
• Strong understanding of electrical installation principles
• Knowledge of BS7671
• Experience with cabling and containment
• Experience programming, testing and commissioning systems
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional approach to work
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Install fire and security systems
• Install cabling and containment in accordance with BS7671
• Programme and test newly installed devices
• Complete installation and commissioning documentation
• Carry out service work when required
• Liaise professionally with customers and other contractors
• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle stock
• Report faults, failures or deficiencies to your line manager
• Maintain accurate monthly timesheets
• Attend training courses when required
• Supervise and mentor trainee engineers when required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
• Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation / Service Engineer to join a growing Fire & Security business based in Buckingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in Fire & Security systems who is looking for a long-term position with a company that offers development, training and career progression.

The Role

As an Installation / Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning and servicing a range of fire and security systems. The role will be predominantly installation-based, although some service work may be required depending on workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Install fire and security systems
• Install cabling and containment in accordance with BS7671
• Programme and test newly installed devices
