Job summary

Dalkia UK in Scotland (Glasgow area) is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive maintenance and on-call emergency support across fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, complete precise reports and work with clients to maintain high service standards. Essential qualifications include an apprenticeship, ECS card and CCTV experience; IPAF is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Recognised Fire & Security Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Health & Safety training (e.g. Manual Handling, Working at Height).
• Strong experience in fire alarm systems with supporting certifications.
• IP and analogue CCTV system experience.
• Current ECS card with Chapter 8 awareness.
• IPAF trained.
• GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Industry experience in service, fault finding, and maintenance of fire & security systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine PPMs and reactive maintenance on fire & security systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies with swift fault diagnosis.
• Complete detailed job documentation, reports and asset records.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for specialist support.
• Support clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and participate in on-call rota.
