Job summary

CIA Fire & Security, part of the Ranger Group, is seeking an experienced Service & Small Works Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role covers Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, focusing on service, maintenance and small works on fire and security systems.

You will diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance, and work on Gent fire alarm systems where qualified, with strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing, maintenance, remedials and small works.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault-find on fire and security systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Complete remedial works and small works installations.
• Work on Gent fire alarm systems where qualified and competent.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and aim for first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
