Job summary

Secure and Recruit Ltd is seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Engineer to cover the North-East region. The role involves installing and servicing systems on commercial and construction sites, with a focus on reliability and compliance.

You will handle fault-finding, commissioning, and testing, while maintaining high workmanship and customer service. A full UK driving licence is required and a 1 in 6 call-out rota may apply.

Qualifications

• Experienced Fire Alarm or Security Engineer with strong fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to cover North-East area on commercial and construction sites.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install or service Fire Alarm and/or Security systems on commercial sites.
• Respond to faults and technical issues promptly.
• Complete commissioning and testing where required.
• Produce service reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain high workmanship and customer service standards.
• Participate in a 1 in 6 call-out rota where applicable.
