Job summary

Infinity Resource Solutions in Hertfordshire is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to maintain and service Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.

You will perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs and small works to high standards, travel nationally, join on-call rota, and engage with customers to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and BS 5839.
• FIA qualifications or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining Emergency Lighting systems.
• An electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally and deliver excellent customer service.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and small works on Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
• Ensure SLAs and client timescales are met.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Liaise with Service Team for scheduling and completion of works.
• Complete accurate service reports using company software.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Participate in the out-of-hours standby and call-out rota.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
• Support colleagues and undertake other duties as required.
