Job description

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field Service team. The role involves ensuring effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls, and small works, while complying with all legal and regulatory standards.

The responsibilities include routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and related equipment, maintaining proper documentation and records. Excellent communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.

The candidate should have experience working with high health and safety standards, and previous roles involving PPM, reactive calls, and small works in the fire and security industry. Service testing, inspection to relevant standards, fault-finding, and participation in training to stay updated are also expected.

Preferred qualifications include experience with PPM, accident reporting, RAMS, and adherence to health and safety legislation, ideally in engineering. The ability to share technical knowledge, work independently, and solve problems is advantageous.
