Job summary

Tristone Nash is seeking two experienced Fire Safety Surveyors to support a social housing organisation in London on an initial six‑month contract. The role focuses on reactive fire safety surveying, remedial works management and contributing to improvement programmes to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.

You will carry out property inspections, coordinate remedial works with contractors, manage Fire Risk Assessments, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Recognised fire safety qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Proven experience in fire safety surveying or contract surveying.
• Previous experience in social housing.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and standards.
• Experience with Fire Risk Assessments, remedial action planning and post-inspections.
• Ability to produce detailed work orders, specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property inspections to ensure fire safety works meet specifications and safety standards.
• Undertake site visits after Fire Risk Assessments and prepare remedial specifications.
• Manage fire safety remedial works, including contractor coordination and site inspections.
• Support fire safety programmes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate projects with the Fire Safety Delivery Team Manager and stakeholders.
• Review and close out Fire Risk Assessment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records, orders, specifications and compliance documentation.
• Respond to resident enquiries with high standards of customer care.
