Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a Fire Safety Manager to own fire safety across a large estate of 1,500 buildings across 40+ sites. The role combines hands-on fire risk assessment with high-level governance, working with site teams and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment and substantial experience in complex buildings, with flexibility to travel and engage across the UK.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification at minimum.
• Significant experience in fire safety roles.
• Extensive experience with Fire Risk Assessments across complex sites.
• Experience working with diverse buildings and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire safety across allocated sites.
• Complete and review Fire Risk Assessments.
• Identify fire safety risks and ensure actions are followed through.
• Advise operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Challenge the business where extra controls or investment are needed.
• Support new building and development projects.
• Advise on Building Regulations and fire safety requirements.

Fire Safety Manager

Salary: £47,025–£52,250 + benefits

Location: Salisbury

Working pattern: Approx. 60% site-based / 40% travel

Are you a Fire Safety professional looking for something more varied than an office-based role?

This is an opportunity to join an established specialist fire safety team and take ownership of fire safety across alarge, complex and highly varied estate.

With around 1,500 buildings across 40+ sites, you won't be dealing with the same building or the same problem every day. From older buildings through to major new developments and complex engineering environments, there is plenty to get your teeth into.

What will you be doing?

You’ll take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of sites, working closely with people on the ground as well as senior leadership.

Your focus will be heavily around fire risk assessment, fire safety management and improving standards across the estate.

• Leading fire safety across your allocated sites.
• Completing and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments.
• Identifying fire safety risks and making sure actions are followed through.
• Advising operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Challenging the business where additional controls or investment are needed.
• Supporting new building and development projects.
• Advising on Building Regulations, Building Control and fire safety requirements.
• Working with site teams to understand the practical challenges they face
